Areate, Rebark....and oh yah, a Waterfall

Oh boy! What started out a simple day of 'rebarking' our flower beds, turned into, "let's aerate the lawn"....then it was, "you know, that fence line over there is really boring, forget the bark, let's put a WATERFALL in!" Okay, agreed! So, we spent all day, starting at 7am, rebarking, aerating, and .....pushing dirt to make a waterfall. We absolutely LOVE it. It has completely changed the look of our front yard and it's not so 'blah' anymore. We are always up for a good challenge! We knew we already had a ton of rock at the farm, so all we needed was the pump, hose and lining, and it was in. Most of the rock is already in; have to get another load and it should be complete. I must say, it is quite fun trying to place the rock in the correct spot. ONE rock can send the water over the edge! =) Mind you, the pictures are a little dark, I took them at 9pm. =) Once it is finished, better ones will be posted.

Tomorrow we are off to Dayton to relax. We are going for a 4-wheeler ride up near Bluewood. Following a rodeo, which our niece Josi will be doing barrels. Monday, Chip will be working on the combine, finishing it up for the Combine Derby on the 13th of June. Hopefully I can get the spare room painted and office a little more organized. Hope everyone has a safe & relaxing holiday!

Abby just had a tooth pulled...she was still lethargic and hot, so she relaxed by the pool. =)
